Job Description:

Position will assist Government personnel is the analysis and incorporation of various lifecycle models and standards into the current lifecycle models used by development programs. Specifically, the selected individual will need to:

Review relevant customer initiatives and standards and analyze for potential impacts and changes to current program lifecycle processes
Provide overall lifecycle process support to include areas from concept development and refinement phases through deployment and operations and support phases.
Provide support in functional (discipline) areas including execution and management of the following processes: requirements engineering, systems engineering, risk engineering, test engineering, performance measurement, interfaces, logistics, software
Create, support and/or conduct briefings to Senior Level Management
Provide general support for lifecycle engineering activities

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is desired. A Systems Engineer should have a minimum of five years of technical experience for Government or Industry customers. Individuals in this position should have at least 3-years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, and process execution and evaluation. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for two years of experience in either case.

Other Qualifications:

Experience with DoD 5000 and existing customer lifecycle processes required.
Within the lifecycle model, experience with the DoD and/or customer acquisition process highly desired.
PMP and/or DAWIA certifications highly desired.
Knowledge of Legal and Policy and/or Security requirements highly desired
Proficiency with MS Office technologies is required and other relevant tools, such as Trac, Jira, Sharepoint, etc. desired.
Demonstrated experience in working independently with limited detailed task direction.
Demonstrated experience in interfacing with multiple constituencies and stakeholders to establish and complete activity objectives.
